See the Difference: Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream

I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That's deep enough. What do you want—an adorable pancreas?
- Jean Kerr

I am super in love with this BB Cream! I believe I've found my perfect brand! Look and see the huge difference my face went through with just a tiny sample pack.

USING NORMAL ROOM LIGHTING:

Problem Skin: Bumpy, generally non-smooth, huge pores, off-tone

Applied a dash of Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream (comes in one shade only), and spread all over the face

Instantly my skin becomes even, lesser apparent pores, smooth-looking and smooth-feeling, gives off a non-cakey look, which is important in a bb cream, and has a very natural, dewy finish!

Added a teeny tiny bit of loose face powder to lessen the shine (My face is oily), and took the photo under bright morning lights near my window!

Oh my gosh, I look kind of pretty already HAHAHA!

  3. I haven't really tried a lot of BB creams, except for Skin79, Lioele, and Skinfood cactus

They say the bb cream ingredients somehow help the skin's problematic areas, especially uneven tone and dark spots. I jumped the bb cream bandwagon ever since I read Song Hye-kyo, Ha Ji-won and other korean actresses use them daw all the time.

Ok rin sya, kaso nga lang hirap kung di fit sayo ang shade. 1-2 shades lang usually ang bb creams.

  4. @Everyone
You all really should ^_^ its a much healthier "alternative" to foundation, or so the korean lady at the store tells me over and over again! Hahaha!

Places: PaperRockScissors the Perfect Craft Store in Davao

Listening to: "It's Time" - Imagined Dragons Hello everyone! This post is not exactly skin-care related, but I'd like to share something else tonight. Yes, it's a craft shop :) kind of weird, but you know my recently-aquired love for crafting and sewing, right? However nice Davao City is and its how accommodating its stores and establishments may be, hobby shops are definitely NOT dime a dozen from where I am. I can barely find things I want. National chains for school supplies and crafting items are not much help. But maybe that's my fault: I don't get out a lot. Well if I didn't go out last night for a dinner at Zabadani Cafe ( Grilled Syrian Chicken is just too yummy to pass up!), I would never know that what I needed was right under my nose! A recently-opened shop called Paper Rock Scissors is one of my recent finds. Located just a minute away from where I work is the hobby shop of my dreams! It is so quaint and pretty and houses a lot of craf...

Atoning

Okay so it's not a clever title. Well, I am currently reading Atonement by Ian McEwan (wow, I've been at this book for aaaages) and I am trying to atone for the lack of posts lately! We were having--- actually we still are having a tough time at home. We're moving!!! Been pretty busy with the repairs of the new home and packing all our stuff. *Sniff, Sniff* I feel really sad leaving our home. We've lived there for around 13 years. Hopefully we can all scramble and leave before September 18. And ugh, it's such a downer to spend September 19 unpacking and decorating our home. It's my b irthday , I was planning to host a Crab Party! :( Anyway, I thought I would just like to share my favorite quotes on Atonement , if you don't mind. I love this book. Everytime I read a passage that struck me, I hastily jot it down. The book is wonderfully written, it is so erudite! The story itself makes me contemplate on the dynamics of family, the strength of imagination ...

Books in the Mail: HarperCollins Stash for August-September

I've just about settled here in Manila, yet my address is giving me a headache. I've only been used to a residential address, not a condominium unit number so I'm always worried about lost mail. I didn't think that my Harper Collins books would find its way to me. Until one fine morning: I was absolutely crazy happy. I have very little faith in Manila postal offices due to horrendous reports of misdirected mail, opening of packages, and even high taxation of mailed goods which is so ridiculous #thirdworldproblems and all that. I received two packages from Harper Collins on the same week, so you can just imagine me jumping for joy. Here are the books I received from several months' worth: I am an avid fan of Harper Collins, even before they noticed me and my blog. They are one of the publishing houses that I love because their editors and agents are AMAZING! They source out new authors and get them published, and those are testament to their great ...
