I'm going to disappear because there is no finish line

When you read books, the world never ends.

I got a lot of reading done after 1Q84 (just had to shake off the "Legendary Murakami Ennui" or so I'd like to call it) and here they are:

Maybe I can do reviews sometime in the future. But really not anytime soon. I do love these books! The stories were amazing. I really did cry while reading Kitchen, and I had a optimistic view of the world while reading Miss Pettigrew. They made me happy, all of the books were wonderfully told!

I have just finished a book I borrowed from another friend, a short novel entitled The Wicked, Wicked Ladies in the Haunted House by Mary Chase. Chills! Wow! It's not scary as it is pretty creepy!

Wonderful sketchy, inky illustrations pepper the book :)

During my absence, here are the books I will be pursuing. Plenty of novels to keep me busy and happy at least.

Schoolgirl by Osamu Dazai: Melancholic Contemplation

Arriving all the way from USA, I had a tiny traveler plop down right in front of my desk. The moment I held the book, I immediately focused long and hard on the book cover. I've had my small share of contemporary Japanese novels and each had very interesting designs, but not one is as gently arresting as this Schoolgirl by Osamu Dazai published by One Peace Books . Soft yet stark. I'm not one to judge a book by its cover, but it certainly is a good way to hold the interest of the readers. A closer look at the cover would remind one of things that are "beautiful in its simplicity". Camera-Less Rants (Again), Updates, Plans

In my last post, I used my webcam yet again and to tell you frankly I think it sucks having to use a webcam or a phone for blog photos. But I'm camera-less again because my pink Lumix camera has gone dead on me. THIS IS THE SECOND LUMIX WE BOUGHT AND IT SUFFERED ALMOST THE SAME DISEASE LIKE MY OTHER BLACK LUMIX. IT MAKES ME HATE THE BRAND SO MUCH. I'd like to put some swatches of some purchases I made recently, like Ellana Minerals Cheek and Lip tint which for me, beats the Skinfood Cool Lip Jelly tint. I mainly use the Ellana tint on my lips because I'm not the blush-on kind of girl. I also wanted to do a personal review of the Majolica Majorca Pressed Pore Cover , which I've been using recently because I've finally hit pan on my Beauty Credit Pressed Powder SPF 27 . Yay! I wanted to post a comparison between two blackhead strips/cream I've been using, because I found out that I have a lot of hidden whiteheads and blackheads on my nose and I'm using this ...

Giveaways For Us to Enter

I like giveaways for a lot of reasons, one being that I get stuff that I can't find from where I am and they're giving it away for free! Two, it says a lot about someone when they share what they can and offer it to other people, even from the simplest gifts to the grandest one. Three, it amazes me: just the very effort that it took for them to pick out such nice items, the money they shell out for it and their enthusiasm in giving it away makes it such a happy event I love to be part of. I hope I can do a giveaway someday too, just a little token. I'm sure I will! I'm looking into nice prizes that are cute and useable.
