Quick Update (Watch out for a new Giveaway!)

I've been on and off of make up and skin care. Have anyone of you experienced that? Like a low point in buying products? That's what I'm in right now. I dunno. I just went to a mall one day and didn't feel like buying. Maybe it's because I don't have a camera and I couldn't share anything with you guys anyway.

The last one I bought was a liquid eyeliner. I'll do my first FOTD using it and the Castledew palette as soon as I get my hands on a camera.

In other news, I'm actually delving more into buying clothes. Vintage stuff, romantic stuff! My style icons are:



Both women are amazing! And they make me want to scour the thrift stores for vintage clothes. There's something about it that is timeless and classical. No matter how many fashion fads (Lady-Gagaesque crazy clothes!) might come and go, vintage classic pieces are here to stay. They are so beautiful and it makes a girl/woman look so put together.

    I so agree with you on those vintage style...luckily it's a trend right now...so even trendy stores sells vinatge looking stuff...

    i agree with adin - vintage is a trend right now. but it's so cute!

    Vintage clothes look the best in cream, black or white/black. hmmmm actually that's true for any type of clothing LOL (well to me anyway)

Atoning

Okay so it's not a clever title. Well, I am currently reading Atonement by Ian McEwan (wow, I've been at this book for aaaages) and I am trying to atone for the lack of posts lately! We were having--- actually we still are having a tough time at home. We're moving!!! Been pretty busy with the repairs of the new home and packing all our stuff. *Sniff, Sniff* I feel really sad leaving our home. We've lived there for around 13 years. Hopefully we can all scramble and leave before September 18. And ugh, it's such a downer to spend September 19 unpacking and decorating our home. It's my b irthday , I was planning to host a Crab Party! :( Anyway, I thought I would just like to share my favorite quotes on Atonement , if you don't mind. I love this book. Books in the Mail: HarperCollins Stash for August-September

I've just about settled here in Manila, yet my address is giving me a headache. I've only been used to a residential address, not a condominium unit number so I'm always worried about lost mail. I didn't think that my Harper Collins books would find its way to me. Until one fine morning: I was absolutely crazy happy. I have very little faith in Manila postal offices due to horrendous reports of misdirected mail, opening of packages, and even high taxation of mailed goods which is so ridiculous #thirdworldproblems and all that.
